Heartland recruits and trains attorneys to represent low income people who have a civil legal matter in Marion County, Indiana. Heartland’s volunteer attorneys can provide assistance for a variety of cases, including divorce, custody, visitation, adult & child guardianships, immigration, estate planning, small estate administration, landlord/tenant, debt collection (defense only), foreclosure (defense only), and bankruptcy.

If you are an attorney, we provide support and training opportunities that allow you to volunteer your services to low income families in civil legal cases. We may also be able to match you with an attorney to serve as a mentor. Click here for more information.
